Founded by Omar, a Berber native from a small village near the Sahara, our company grew from his lifelong passion for sharing the stories, traditions, and breathtaking landscapes of his home with visitors from around the world.

Omar saw that many Morocco tour packages offered a superficial glimpse of the country, rushing through cities without fostering real cultural exchange. He envisioned a different kind of travel—slower, deeper, and more meaningful. He wanted to create bespoke Morocco itineraries that felt less like a tour and more like a journey alongside a knowledgeable local friend. What Moroccan Trippers does

We plan and run trips inside Morocco: the transport, a driver-guide who travels with you, and the accommodation along the route. Most of our travellers book a private tour, which means your own vehicle and driver-guide, a route built around your dates and the freedom to stop where you like. For travellers on a budget or travelling solo, we also run shared 3-day desert tours from Marrakech, ending in Fes or back in Marrakech.

How we work as a local Morocco tour operator

Being based in Morocco means we know the roads, the seasons and the places where it is worth slowing down. A few principles shape every trip:

Honest planning. We tell you realistic driving times, and suggest an extra night when a route would otherwise be too rushed.
Clear accommodation choices. Tours can be booked in a comfort or a luxury category. In Merzouga there are comfortable, clean, well-serviced hotels rather than luxury ones, so the upgrade applies in places such as the Dadès Valley and the desert camp.
Desert camps in Erg Chebbi. Our comfort camp has private tents, each with its own bathroom and toilet, normally for two people; a partner camp with air-conditioned tents is also used.
Language. Driver-guides work in English, French, Spanish and Italian; a Spanish- or Italian-speaking guide depends on availability and is confirmed before booking.
